The playroom
I refuse to believe builder grade is the final draft. This is our playroom for two little boys: a room that started plain, a stack of Pinterest screenshots, and a lot of painter's tape.

The DIY checkered wall
I was obsessed with the look of a checkered wall, but I wasn't going to spend $1,000 on wallpaper for a playroom. So I taped it off and painted every square myself. It honestly sucked. The after was so worth it.

Climb, swing, draw
Two boys who never stop moving needed a room that keeps up: a wooden climbing wall with rings, a hanging egg swing, and a house-shaped chalkboard that says "the playroom."
